TEXAS WOMAN’S UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES PATRICIAAND CURTIS MEADOWS TO RECEIVE 11^TH ANNUAL VIRGINIA CHANDLERDYKES LEADERSHIP AWARDCouple will be honored at luncheon inFebruary

Patricia and Curtis Meadows have been named the recipients of the 11th Annual Virginia Chandler Dykes Leadership Award,presented by Bank of Texas and Texas Woman’s University and the Texas Woman’sUniversity Foundation.  
Theannouncement was made at a private reception in the home of Myrna and BobSchlegel on September 18.  TexasWoman’s University Chancellor and President Dr. Ann Stuart will presentthe award at the Virginia Chandler Dykes luncheon event Feb. 21, 2013, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., atthe BeloMansion and Pavilion, 2101 Ross Ave.   
Established in 2002, the Virginia Chandler DykesLeadership Award is given annually to Dallas leaders with a life-longcommitment to improving the quality of life in the community and to furtheringthe importance of education.  Theaward recognizes the life work of Virginia Chandler Dykes as an outstandinghealth care provider, who’s professional and civic achievements represent alifetime committed to helping others. Past award recipients are Myrna D. Schlegel and Kimberly SchlegelWhitman, 2012; Joel Allison, 2011; Kathleen Mason, 2010; Caroline Rose Hunt,2009; T. Boone Pickens, 2008; Lindalyn Adams, 2007; Dr. and Mrs. KernWildenthal, 2006; Gretchen Minyard Williams and J.L. “Sonny” Williams, 2005;Geraldine “Tincy” Miller, 2004; and Susan and Charles Cooper, 2003.
